Diploma in Automobile Engineering (DAE)
The three year program for Automobile Engineering Diploma is an automotive maintenance Technician program which is specifically aimed at providing students with skills in eight content areas of the automobile defined by SEA (Society of Automobile Engineers) which include: engine Repair, Automatic Transmission, Manual Drive train, Suspension and Steering, Brakes, Electrical and Electronic Systems, heating and Air Condition and Engine performance. The program aims at providing a thorough knowledge of the construction and operating principles of modern and contemporary automobiles. It also aims at providing background for intelligent diagnosis, maintenance and repairs of different types of modern automobiles.
Aspiring students should primarily have the following qualifications:-
FTC in Automobile Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications with an average of at least C grade. OR Ordinary Diploma in Automobile Engineering with at least Lower Second Class / B grade. OR Possession of a Diploma besides FTC, with C grade and passing mature age entry examination. OR Possession of at least two principal passes at Advanced level of Certificate in Secondary Education (A.C.S.E.), including pass in Mathematics, Physics and pass a bridging course examination.
Diploma in Logistics and Transport Management (DLTM)
Guided by the programme philosophy and marketing demand for personnel in logistics and transport to fill up the gap in operational undertakings. The Diploma in Logistics and Transport Management has the following Principal Learning Outcomes:
Plan and control logistics and supply chain operations,
Establish logistics and supply chain documentation systems,
Maintain operations in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements,
Establish transport equipment procurement and maintenance systems,
Apply economic principles to manage logistics and transport operations.
Diploma in Freight Clearing and Forwarding (DFCF)
Guided by the programme philosophy and market demand for personnel in freight clearing and forwarding to fill up the gap in operational undertakings, the programme has the following principal learning outcomes:
Plan and control freight clearing and forwarding operations and supervise shipping and port operations,
Maintain operations in accordance with legal and policy requirements,
Establish transport equipment procurement and maintenance systems,
Apply economic principles to manage logistics and transport operations.
Minimum requirements for courses offered are as follows
Admission to the programme is open to candidates who have NTA level 5 qualifications
Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)
Minimum requirements for courses offered are as follows
Eligible applicants should be those who have completed a Certificate in IT
programme from any recognized Institution.
OR Those who have a Certificate in Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE) with at least three credit passes and at least a pass in Mathematics.
