The National Institute of Transport dispensary provides health services to students, staff members, staff families and the general public. The dispensary is located within the NIT Mabibo Campus ensuring easy availability of services to our esteemed stakeholders. The dispensary provides a wide range of treatment services including maternal and child care service, family planning services, vaccination services for children and adults, minor surgery and youth-friendly services. Our dispensary is accredited to offer services to the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) beneficiaries. All students are required to join NHIF by filling in special forms after contributing some specified amount of money to the NHIF during the registration period. Students who fulfil the above will be provided with NHIF membership cards which will be used to access treatment at the dispensary and other accredited health facilities country wide. We have a pharmacy which strives to provide excellent service, drug utilisation management, and drug information through a team of highly trained and dedicated staff. The dispensary's future plans are to invest heavily in a modern and extensive range of high-quality equipment to meet specialised needs of our clients.
