The Department of Logistics and Transport Management (LTM) is of one of the oldest academic department at the National Institute of Transport (NIT). The department is among the largest departments at NIT hosting over 5,000 students. It is endowed with sufficient modern resources and infrastructures to cater for the training needs of all students including modern buildings, classrooms, laboratories, libraries and online learning resources and highly qualified and committed staff. In line with the vision and mission of the Institute, the department is committed to provide skilled workforce within and outside the country to support the development of a sustainable logistics and transport sector. This is made possible through the use of demand-driven curriculum that equips students with both theoretical and practical competence which prepares them for both paid and self-employment opportunities.
